DescriptionWoman's gown petticoat of block printed cotton in a floral design, matching a sack-back gown of the same material (#1). The petticoat has a front panel of printed textile decorated with a pleated flounce at the center-front of the hem. The flounce is edged with woolen braid trimming matching that on the gown. The upper back of the petticoat is plain linen. The skirt is pleated to a replaced tape waistband.Construction History:
