DescriptionRectangular kerchief, block-printed in blue, yellow, black, red, and pink with floral sprigs and a dense border of flowers and foliage. Blue and yellow dyes were layered to make green on leaves and stems. Only the outermost edge has a dyed yellow ground, the rest of the design features patterning on an undyed ground. Registration marks in black dye appear near the interior edge of the border, which is visibly divided into nine-inch repeats.1830-1835
