DescriptionPlate: lead-glazed refined earthenware plate (pearlware) decorated in polychrome enamels of pink, red, and green; painted with a diaper border on the rim interrupted by eight reserves alternating between large and small, each painted with leafy floral sprigs; the cavetto painted with a scalloped and plain line encircling a leafy central rose; the reverse of the dish undecorated; no footring; evidence of three stilt marks on the underside of the rim.
