DescriptionPlate: circular plate with broad rim, shallow well, and no footring; three sets of trangular stilt marks evident on the reverse of the rim; two concentric bands of blue painted on the rim, one about 1/16 of an inch from the edge and the other at the interior of the rim just before the cavetto. The center of the plate is transfer printed in blue with Masonic symbols to include a compass crossing a square and between the points of the compass is a starburst oval enclosing "No 16" in script; above the symbols in a convex arc is the phrase "Loge de le Sagefse" (long s) in script, and below the symbols in a concave arc is the place name "NORFOLK VIRGA."Exhibition(s)
