DescriptionSilver dish cross based on a circular spirit lamp capped by a gadrooned-edge cover and set with a swivel ring from which radiate four square arms capped by applied 6-petalled flowers. Each arm has an openwork sliding socket topped by an openwork shell-shaped dish rest and an openwork petaled foot, each supported by a C-scroll.MarkingsLondon sterling hallmarks for 1771-1772, plus the maker's mark of Thomas Nash I (Grimwade-2864).
