DescriptionSilver dish cross based on a circular spirit lamp capped by a milled-edge cover and set with a swivel ring from which radiate four square arms capped by applied 6-petalled flowers. Each arm has an openwork sliding set with an openwork shell and bead-shaped dish rest and foot, each supported by scrolls.MarkingsLondon sterling hallmarks for 1763-1764, plus the maker's mark of Samuel Herbert & Co.
