DescriptionCan-shaped mug with single-reeded handle and grisaille transfer-printed King of Prussia pattern. To the left of the handle: upper body portrait of Frederick the Great dressed for battle in military armor with arm extended outwards, finger pointing towards trophies of war. Shell mantelling below figure with date 1757 and words "KING of PRUSSIA." An angel holds a leafy crown above Frederick the Great's head. Opposite the handle, the trophies of war include arms such as cannon, arrows, spears, and shield; military symbols such as a drum, anchor, and horn; and three flags fly above containing names of cities (Reisburg, Prague, Collin, Welham, Rufsbach, Breslan, Newmark, Lifsa, Breslan again).
