DescriptionCup: handless teacup on short foot ring; decorated with an exterior border of a purple doted orange-red wavy line; a basket of flowers painted in orange-red, pink, purple, and green on the front and three flower sprigs evenly spaced around the exterior; the interior rim with a purple dot border between two orange-red lines; the well of the cup painted with a stylized flower sprig.ProvenanceDescended in the Tucker families of New York and Bermuda. Passed down to Catharine Fitch Tucker [February 28, 1879-August 22, 1970] of Paget, Bermuda, who gifted the piece to her nephew, Edward Bolton (Teddy) Tucker, MBE [May 8, 1929-June 9, 2014]; it then descended to his daughter Wendy Susan Tucker who subsequently gifted it to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in 2024.
