DescriptionDressing table box and cover. Rectangular sheet iron box of cyma profile, japanned in red and brown tortoiseshell with gult bands of interlocking circles; interior black flecked with gold. Cover with gilt borders of trellis and scroll patterns framing a white enamel plaque depicitng a harbor scene with tall tower in foreground, ships and castle in background in brown, green, rose, blue, and yellow with a paneled rose and gilt border; the underside white, painted with flower stalk.
