DescriptionSugar bowl and cover: acorn finial on double-domed circular cover with wells above first stage and between first stage and edge; paired incised lines on cover below finial and on either side of ridge of first stage; short bezel on underside of cover fitting within rim of body; circular body with convex sides with paired incised lines above center; body supported on short flared foot.
Label TextSurviving sugar bowls or basins are much more scarce than cream jugs and ewers.
