DescriptionBowl with cylindrical foot ring, everted rim and nearly horizontal scalloped edge handle pierced by one heart-shaped hole. Bluish tin glaze decorated in dark grayish blue: on the exterior, a band of stylized flowers around the body, a scalloped-edge band at the rim, and radiating lines on the handle; on the interior, a small foliate spray.Label TextA very similar, privately owned delft porringer bears the date 1731. The London attribution for this example is based on a privately owned London-shaped plate, also dated 1731, that has the same rim decoration.
