DescriptionPlate: circular plate with broad flat rim and shallow well; decorated in blue on the white tin-glaze ground, the rim painted with three leafy floral clusters with auspicious symbols; the well decorated with a central motif of chrysanthemums, fern fronds and other leaves and flowers in a bowl painted with flowers, a border at the cavetto of concentric double lines and a scalloped and scrolling band with inward radiating bellflowers and stylized arrows. The reverse painted with two stylized branches on the underside of the rim and a stylized leaf on the center of the underside of the foot. Evidence of three stilt marks on the underside of the rim.MarkingsA stylized leaf on the center of the underside of the foot.
