DescriptionPlate: circular plate with broad flat rim and shallow well; decorated in blue on the white tin-glaze ground, the rim painted with three leafy floral clusters with auspicious symbols; the well decorated with a central motif of chrysanthemums, fern fronds and other leaves and flowers in a bowl painted with flowers, a border at the cavetto of concentric double lines and a scalloped and scrolling band with inward radiating bellflowers and stylized arrows. The reverse painted with two stylized branches on the underside of the rim and a stylized leaf on the center of the underside of the foot. Evidence of three stilt marks on the underside of the rim.
