DescriptionSnuff box, patch box, or bonbonnière in the form of a heeled shoe of 18th-century style. Details of the shoe such as sole, top, and heel are defined by incised lines, and a molded buckle appears on the front. The circular lid has a threaded flange to fit the threading at the top of the shoe.
