DescriptionSerpentine cresting rail; S-shaped sides dropping to narrow, vertical, tapering arm supports nailed to outside edge of seat frame; broad, essentially "square" seat frame; slightly rounded at front; broad, cabriole front legs, the knees embellished with central, crosshatched lambrequin, surrounded by carved leafage which extends outward to sides and terminates in C-scroll on each bracket; legs terminate in substantial claw and ball feet; rear legs square in cross-section, curving outward to rear.
