DescriptionLadderback side chair; cylindrical rear posts, embellished with shallow ring turnings above slats, terminating in high acorn finials on top; back composed of three arched slats, pinned between posts; square, splint seat (all seats replaced) cylindrical front posts, each embellished with ring turnings above stretchers; legs braced by seven plain, cylindrical stretchers, two each on front and sides, one at rear; traces of green paint on two chairs (possibly original).
