DescriptionLarge plate shaped dish with raised foot ring. Blue tin glaze decorated in blue with a Chinese landscape composed of a hillside pagoda and trees surrounded by a band of trellis diaper and flowers. On the rim, five alternating repeats of a moth and a floral spray; three stylized sprays on reverse. Orange edge.
Label TextA complete plate and fragments of another have been excavated in Williamsburg at a site within present day Merchants Square (15AA.0310) and at the James Geddy House.
