DescriptionSmall gate-leg table; top composed of a central narrow rectangular top with two half round drop leaves that create an oval top when open; top supported by two block and turned legs with ring and baluster turnings, and two gates of rectangular components with their lower rails scalloped along the lower edges; legs and gates supported by base comprised of a rectangular center section with a rounded edge to which the gates are attached and the swing legs of the gates are notched into when closed, and at each end, perpendicular to the central board with a shaped cut out in center and feet with shaped ends into which the turned table legs are attached.1650-1700
