DescriptionWindsor armchair. Continuous high arched rail decorated with a pair of parallel incised lines forming back and arm rests which terminate in flat-sided disks Thirteen baluster turned spindles of graduated lengths connect rail to seat. Pair of larger, more boldly turned baluster arm supports; shaped saddle seat with broad incised groove encircling spindles at rear of seat; four raking, baluster turned legs braced by three bulbous stretchers; two side stretchers and one medial; covered all over with blue-green paint, traces of earlier red paint beneath and bits of yellow over the blue paint in places.Woods: Maple with white pine seat and ash arm rails and bow.
