DescriptionSingle mitt (fingerless glove) of yellow ribbed silk, needleworked on both sides in symmetrical scrolls and flowers in cream silk using satin, herringbone and French knot stitches. Edged with needle lace. The mitt has a rounded point over the hand that could be worn folded back. The thumb is open at the tip, shaped to a point. Natural tabby woven linen lining throughout. Mitt is cut on straight of fabric, not bias.
