DescriptionSquare tile with canted sides. Bluish tin glaze decorated in blue with a large hare running through a landscape and hillocks and a fence in the background; dotted flower-head corners.
Label TextThis tile is part of a series that forms a continuous hunting scene, each tile representing a single hare, dog, or horseman. Two other examples of this version of a hare, if this short eared creature indeed is a hare, are recorded. The dotted flower-head corner is usually attributed to London.
