DescriptionSplat-back side: Serpentine cresting; stiles square in section; pierced vasiform splat. Rush seat with exposed front corners; front legs turned in vase, block, and ring pattern; end in "Spanish" feet. Ball and ring-turned front stretcher; plain side stretchers with shallow ring-turning at center; plain turned rear stretcher. Finish: natural wood, with slight greenish-black cast; shellacked (not original).
