DescriptionDescription: Armchair with serpentine, yoke-shaped cresting rail with shaped ears; flat, vase-shaped splat which fits into rectangular bottom rail, molded at lower edge; rear posts baluster turned above arms and cylindrical in cross section below; posts circumscribed with occasional score marks; flat, broadly scrolled arms supported at front by posts, baluster turned to seat and cylindrical in cross section below; front posts terminate in flattened turnip feet; bulbous baluster turned front stretcher with central disc turnings; pair of parallel stretchers either side and one at rear, slightly bulbous in form.Woods: Maple with tulip poplar splat and bottom rail and ash side stretchers.
