DescriptionCoat for a small boy of brown cut velvet, with tiny diamonds or floral springs in green and yellow in voided areas. Coat has 1 3/4" standing collar. Chest of coat is padded with cotton batting. Coat sharply cutaway at fronts, curving back into tails; front has 6 thread buttons (no buttonholes). Long sleeves slightly gathered at top, ending in 3 1/2" cuffs; each cuff trimmed with three buttons sewn just beneath each point of flaps. Back of coat has skirt vent reaching almost to waist, flanked closely by pleats trimmed with two buttons each. Cream or very pale green silk satin lining; tabby cotton sleeve linings.
