DescriptionDress of dark burgundy color printed in grey leaf sprigs. Long sleeves gathered at shoulder; raised waistline; long pleated skirt. Front opening at bodice, which has a scooped neckline. Cotton bodice lining; sleeves unlined.
ProvenanceWorn by Elizabeth Clifford Morris, 1813-1892. Married 1832 and lived in Wilmington, Delaware.
