DescriptionMan's knee breeches of yellow-white tabby cotton (Nankeen). Wide waistband with suspender buttons, a welted watch pocket and three-button front opening. Fall front, buttoned at center and either side. Side pockets concealed under buttoned opening. All buttons covered with cotton fabric. Slightly full legs, ending at knee with 1" knee band and 6 small buttons on each leg opening. Back has seat fullness gathered into waistband, adjusted in size with self-fabric gusset and 4 eyelets at center back. Lower seat pieced. Waistband lined with white cotton; fall lining, pockets and knee band facings are of brown linen.MarkingsIn ink on inside hip: "TAZWELL"
