DescriptionEnamel on copper alloy kettle: Compressed spherical body with narrow footring, short S-shaped spout, and circular opening with flat circular lid with pointed spherical knop. Bail handle with shaped copper alloy supports and scrolled end; center of handle is missing cane covering. Body and spout with white enamel ground; body painted in famille rose colors with land- and seascape scenes with buildings and mountains, all beneath a scrolled rui border at edge of lip. Spout painted with densely scrolled patternca. 1760
