DescriptionDouble-handled Urn: Unglazed square plinth with loop-band panels in counter relief on each side supports a spreading pedistal foot which rises to urn-shaped body, slightly compressed at shoulder; concave shoulder extends to a narrow neck with thick ring at rim; creamware body covered with surface agate / slip decoration red-brown, to yellow and dark brown in imitation of marble; pair of lead-glazed creamware strap handles surmounted with extruded rope-work loop from the shoulder to central body with female mask terminals. domed cover with spherical finial and long flange with same marbling as vase. Unglazed plinth affixed to urn with metal rod and nut.Markings"Wedgwood / & Bentley" impressed on underside of square base.
