Label TextThe repeated motif in the pseudo hallmarks resembles that used by Gerardin & Watson of London. This firm did not enclose such secondary marks within circles, and their floral device has fourteen petals, as compared with the eight petals in the device used on this mug.

MarkingsNo touch mark apparent. Pseudo hallmarks a rosette or star within a circle stamped three times on face of body to left of handle. Verification mark "W R" with royal crown above within a conforming reserve on face of body below pseudo hallmarks. Later verification marks "WIV" with royal crown above and
"H-SH" below and "GII" with royal crown above, both on face of body.
