DescriptionCreamware "fruit basket" pattern teapot and lid, the body press-molded on either side with a wickerwork basket of assorted fruit and foliage picked out in manganese-brown, teal blue, ochre, and green, the molded fruit partially concealing the basket handle, and the bullet-shaped body with a foliate-molded spout and fluted ear-shaped handle, and the cover with a flowerhead knop.ProvenancePurchased from David Newbon, London, England, 6/2/1978
