DescriptionThis is a rectangular fragment of overshot coverlet woven of peach wool and white cotton. The design consists of small and larger squares and rectangles creating a varuatuib if a plaid pattern. The top and bottom are rolled hems, and the sides are selvedges.

Label TextThe pattern of this coverlet is created by floating the peach wool over the body of fabric. Though removing the peach wool would ruin the coverlet, the weave underneath would still be intact.
