DescriptionMan's banyan or gown of heavy dark green silk damask in bold floral and leaf pattern. Collarless high neckline, front 5-button closure curving in at the waist, open below. Long slightly curved sleeves, somewhat gathered at the top and ending in sewn-down 3" cuff with single button closure. Waistline small around. Back skirts have center vent and sewn pleat with small buttoned welts at the top of the pleat. Lined with self-fabric front facings and two different green silks (LoNano?)Construction History:
