DescriptionLivery waistcoat of yellow twill soft wool, trimmed around high standing collar, down fronts and shaped skirts, and forming pocket welt using livery lace of uncut velvet in yellow, red, brown and green in a stylized heraldic design. Front closes with 6 replacement brass buttons and functional buttonholes; functional welt pockets. Back of thin, unnapped twill wool. Facings of the same yellow wool as the front, and lining of tabby cotton.Construction History:
1. 1820-1840: Initial Construction
2. February 13, 1958: Work by Ernest LoNano. Cleaning, checking and restoring. Replacing yellow tapes, turning in worn part lower braid on collar and supplying six brass buttons.
