Label TextThis hat was in the collection of Frank Moss Bennett (1874-1952), an English history painter who owned a collection of antique and reproduction costumes to use as props. This costume, along with thirty-one others, was purchased by Colonial Williamsburg from Bennett's daughter upon his death.
