DescriptionOlive mohair plush knee breeches for a liveried servant. Waistband closes at center front with three metal buttons and buttonholes, below which a wide fall is buttoned with two buttons. One welted watch pocket in right front waistband; two front pockets with flaps buttoned at hips. Knee bands have been shortened, but probably buttoned originally. Four buttons on each side of knee vent. Back slightly gathered to waistband. Legs slightly long and slim.

1. 1780-1820: Initial Construction
2. January 31, 1958: Work by Ernest LoNano. Cleaning checking and restoring. Took out velvet underneath flap and used for restoration, added velvet and woolen braid for seams.
