DescriptionRectangular mattress tick made of unbleached heavy tow linen woven in plain or tabby weave. Constructed of two lengths of linen stitched together with butted selvage seams. One piece of linen is folded crosswise and the other folded lengthwise to create the bag. Excess width of linen is left inside the ticking along one side, not cut off to size. Hand hem along open end. Thread count 24 warp X 22 weft per inch.1750-1830
