DescriptionRectangular mattress tick made of heavy unbleached tow linen woven in plain or tabby weave. Bag is made from two pieces of linen, seamed together at selvages with back stitches, leaving seam allowances of less than 1/4". The seam with raw edges present is felled. Piecing seams run crosswise on the tick, not lengthwise. Thread count 23 warps X 20 wefts per inch.
