DescriptionPear-shaped bottle with short neck, cup-shaped lip, and cylindrical foot ring. White tin glaze decorated in blue with panels of a Chinese lotus and scroll motif around the body, leaf scrolls on the neck, and a braided band around the lid.Label TextFragments with the lotus pattern have been excavated in London at Vauxhall, and a small shard with the pattern was excavated in Williamsburg at Wetherburn's Tavern (9NA.1524). The London attribution is based on the shape.
