DescriptionSide chair with serpentine crest rail; three balusters supported by a horizontal stay rail; two side balusters have flaring foliate carving at top, reeding below tapering to a rectangular base; center baluster has a similar flared section at top with scalloped motif just below crest rail, main portion of baluster tapers towards bottom and is carved with a half rosette a top with five connected pendant bellflowers below, all supported by a flaring foliate base; stiles, stay and crest rails all molded; trapezoidal slipseat; seat rails molded on outer top corner; straight tapered legs, square in cross section, with side, medial, and rear stretchers.1800-1815
