DescriptionDeep bowl with cylindrical foot ring. Bluish tin glaze decorated in red, blue, and mixed green with leafy branches and Chinese rockwork.
Label TextThe decoration on the exterior of this bowl is best viewed when the bowl is upside down, suggesting that it was intended to be stored in that position on an open shelf. Period prints of taverns and public houses often show punch bowls stored in this way.
