DescriptionWaistcoat of blue and white pin-stripe silk taffeta, woven in overall pattern of small white diamond lozenges, each enclosing small pink rosebud; waistcoat trimmed around buttonholes and on pocket flaps with metallic-silver tape. Waistcoat is sleeveless with ten eyelets worked into each armhole for tying in separate sleeves (now missing). Waistcoat back made of same silk as fronts. Lined throughout with cream-white silk taffeta.Construction History:
