DescriptionSleeveless waistcoat, part of a three-piece suit, woven of silk suiting in a small-scale pattern of yellow flowers on blue ground wihin diamond lozenges of cream. Waistcoat is buttoned down the front, canting back at the lower waist area below the buttons. Back of waistcoat is waist-length replacement, made of later linen with back buckled adjustment band. Pocket flaps show evidence of removed buttonholes. Replaced silk lining.Construction History:

2. June 13, 1955: Relined with new taffeta, refinished buttonholes and relined pocket flaps. Work by Ernest LoNano.
