DescriptionYellow-Gold silk garters with metal buckles to fasten over leg. Lined with white twill woolen and edged with white silk ribbon. A dark buckle clasp is decorated a flaming beacon within a medallion at center and bordered on either side by the phrase "TENDRE AMOUR" (Sweet Love). Above the words on either side is a line of leaves in green enamel and below the words on either side are sprigs of green. Each image and word is outlines in blue enamel. On the reverse of the clasp, on the "amour" side of the metal is roughly etched the letters "V V D" and then below that "V D".MarkingsOn the reverse of the clasp, on the "amour" side of the metal is roughly etched the letters "V V D" and then below that "V D".
