DescriptionSmall trunk has flat bottom, straight sides, domed lid; covered all over except base with hide; top hinged at rear; wrought iron catch and lock at front; top and front divided into three vertical panels by brass tacks and strips of darker leather; top and front also outlined with leather strips and tacks; diamond motif formed by tacks at center of top; U-shaped motif in tacks on either side of top; interior lined with original blue paper; multi-colored woven tape nailed to interior of both sides of case and lid. Wrought iron handles with large heart-shaped backplate attached to either side.
