DescriptionMan's waistcoat of cream silk twill embroidered in ivory, gold, purple, green, and dark brown silks in floral design on standing collar, down fronts, on hems, and on shaped pocket flap. Scattered small motifs fill in ground. Worked primarily in satin stitch. Six embroidered buttons fasten front. Shaped pocket flaps cover functional cotton pockets, with three buttons under each flap. The back and lining are twilled ivory silk; the back has short center vent and two sets of silk ribbon adjusting ties.
