DescriptionMan's sleeveless and collarless waistcoat of cream silk satin, embroidered with metallic bullion, sequins, and paste stones in a floral and swag design, concentrated around the front neckline, down front, around pocket flaps, and on skirts, with small sprigs powdered evenly across the body. Colors of sequins include gold, green and pink, with clear crystal stones. Waistcoat buttoned down the front with 12 satin-covered sprigged buttons. Functional linen pockets under shaped pocket flaps, each trimmed with three buttons beneath flap at the points. Front skirts cut away at an angle below last button. Back of satin, laced at center back with 22 eyelets, beginning approximately 5 1/2" down from neckline. Cream cotton/linen tabby "fustian" linings. Satin facings at front skirts and down fronts.
