DescriptionHigh post bed, four posts, octagonal and tapering above and below blocked central section; lambs tongue formed where corners of posts join blocked section; arched headboard with twelve flat, vertical slats mortised between headboard and rail; rectangular footboard with twelve flat, vertical slats mortised between footboard and rail; four rails, square section, beaded on edges and pierced with rope holes. Head and foot assemblies are pegged together as units. No bed bolt used on this bed.Remants of blue paint.
