DescriptionOne of a pair of woman's shoes made of light yellow-green silk brocaded with gilt metallic threads and red silk in a so-called "Bizarre" abstract design. Shoes are made as "straights" with have pointed toes, high squared tongues, and straps over the instep for buckles. Broad shaped heels, 2 1/4 inches high, are covered in matching brocaded silk. Edges are bound with green silk ribbon. Linings of white kid leather. Interlining of yellowish under remnants of silk vamp and tongue lining.Shoes came with later elliptical silver buckles set with pastes (removed).
