DescriptionMan's knee breeches of orange cut, uncut and voided velvet in a horizontal stripe. Waistband closes at front with three covered buttons, below which a buttoned "fly" closes with two covered buttons (one missing) to an inner flap. Two welted watch pockets in waistband and two buttoned side front pockets faced with green satin. Two deep rear pockets entered through vertical welt in side seams. Knees end in buckled bands and 6 button vents up side of leg.(three buttons missing in total). Rear has full seat gathered to waistband and center back vent with two eyelets for lacings. Full lining of tabby linen, except green satin on pockets and behind buttonholes.
