DescriptionWaistcoat of orangey-red twill wool, trimmed on high standing collar, down fronts and around pocket flaps with cut voided velvet"livery lace" in red, blue, and black on cream ground, edged with yellow. Waistcoat has no buttons or buttonholes, fastening at center front with (replaced) hooks and eyes. Shaped pocket flaps have three multicolor thread buttons beneath, but no functional pockets. Replaced back is short, made of a single layer of linen, with linen fitting ties. Faced with twill wool; lined with new linen.Construction History:
