DescriptionRound deep bowl, the exterior molded and painted as cabbage leaves, with green edges fading to yellow then white and purple central vein. The interior painted with four flying insects.


Label TextSeveral bowls in this shape appear in the two red anchor period Chelsea catalogs including "a cabbage leaf bason" and "an old leaf bason." A biscuit waster of most of a similar bowl was found on the site of the Chelsea factory.
